Dr. Walter L. Bernacki is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Bernacki is a founding member of the Columbus Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Bernacki Graduated cum laude from Miami University. He then Graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in General Sugery and Critical Care at The Ohio State University. Dr. Bernacki completed an accredited two year fellowship in Plastic Surgery from Summa Health System.

Dr. Walter Bernacki is trained to care for all aspects of Plastic Surgery. This includes Cosmetic Surgery (Breast Augmentation, Breast Lifts, Facelifts, Rhinoplasty, Body contouring, Eyelid surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction) and Reconstructive Surgery (Breast Reconstruction following mastectomy, Breast reduction, Facial reconstruction, for skin cancers and facial fractures, skin reduction surgery after weight loss).

Polly Bernacki Practice Administator responsible for the day to day operations of Bernacki Plastic Surgery. She has been working with Dr. Bernacki since August of 2002. She is responsible for managing the employess, hiring, business planning, project planning, staffing, advertising and promotions. Also responsible for planning, organization, and controlling the clerical aspect of the organization, including the preparation, communication, coordination and storage of data to support the practice. She works closely with the billing company as well as all the vendors.

Linda is the Administrative Assistant to Dr. Bernacki and is responsible for all duties utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology, i.e., operative reports, pathology reports, etc. Duties also include scheduling appointments and compiling and recording medical charts, reports and correspondence.

Linda will also assist in the pre-approval process for all elective surgeries with your insurance company and assist you with any insurance issues you may have. Linda is also responsible for all aspects of day to day internal office operations with the staff and office manager.
