Drs Bernacki and Zochowski hosted a multidisciplinary symposium on Breast Cancer.
We feel that the open dialogue that this type of symposium fosters is very beneficial for breast cancer patients along their path of treatment. At the symposium, Dr Zochowski gave a presentation on the current options for breast reconstruction after treatment of breast cancer.

Dr Zochowski Organized Symposium and Lectures at Annual Plastic Surgery Meeting
Dr Christopher G Zochowski is very active with the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS). While in training, he was elected to be the singular representative to the Board of Directors of the ASPS and also to the Plastic Surgery Foundation. He currently resides on the Young Plastic Surgeons Steering Committee which is a wing of the ASPS. At the annual meeting in Denver, Dr Zochowski organized and lectured at a day long event for medical students interested in plastic surgery. In addition, he and other members of the YPS did service work at the Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House of Denver.

Dr Christopher G Zochowski was invited as an expert speaker to discuss Body Contouring After Massive Weight Loss at the Central Ohio Nutrition Center (CONCi). This talk discussed the numerous surgical options for this patient population. Drs Zochowski and Bernacki enjoy giving academic lectures and have done so on many levels from the local to the national level.
