Dr. Walter L. Bernacki is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Bernacki is a founding member of the Columbus Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Bernacki graduated cum laude from Miami University. He then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in General Surgery and Critical Care at The Ohio State University. Dr. Bernacki completed an accredited two year fellowship in Plastic Surgery from Summa Health System.
Dr. Walter Bernacki is trained to care for all aspects of Plastic Surgery. This includes Cosmetic Surgery (Breast Augmentation, Breast Lifts, Facelifts, Rhinoplasty, Body contouring, Eyelid surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction) and Reconstructive Surgery (Breast Reconstruction following mastectomy, Breast reduction, Facial reconstruction, for skin cancers and facial fractures, skin reduction surgery after weight loss).

Dr. Christopher G. Zochowski is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr Zochowski received his undergraduate degree from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Minor in Russian, graduating cum laude. He then went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He then completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Plastic Surgery at Case Western Reserve. Dr. Zochowski is very involved in his society, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. While in residency, he was nominated to be the singular resident representative to the society’s Board of Directors. He was then selected to remain on the Young Plastic Surgeons Committee. He was a Resident Affiliate of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons.

There is nothing more rewarding than restoring both form and function for a patient and doing this in the most aesthetic manner possible. Plastic surgeons are called upon to solve many difficult problems, from defects surgically created due to cancer to a child with a congenital anomaly. Dr. Zochowski has special interest and training in cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, cosmetic breast surgery, reconstructive breast surgery, reconstructive surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, body contouring, fat injections, cosmetic lasers, fillers, and the surgical treatment of migraine headaches. He is excited to introduce central Ohio to migraine surgery, and he is very proud to be one of the few surgeons trained in this technique worldwide. This is not simply injecting botox, but specific surgical procedures that aim to permanently reduce migraine headaches.

Polly Bernacki Practice Administator responsible for the day to day operations of Bernacki Plastic Surgery. She has been working with Dr. Bernacki since August of 2002. She is responsible for managing the employess, hiring, business planning, project planning, staffing, advertising and promotions. Also responsible for planning, organization, and controlling the clerical aspect of the organization, including the preparation, communication, coordination and storage of data to support the practice. She works closely with the billing company as well as all the vendors.

Linda is the Administrative Assistant to Dr. Bernacki and is responsible for all duties utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology, i.e., operative reports, pathology reports, etc. Duties also include scheduling appointments and compiling and recording medical charts, reports and correspondence.
Linda will also assist in the pre-approval process for all elective surgeries with your insurance company and assist you with any insurance issues you may have. Linda is also responsible for all aspects of day to day internal office operations with the staff and office manager.

Heidi is responsible for surgical insurance verifications and provides administrative support by scheduling patients, compiling and recording medical charts and assisting with general office duties.
